About Elliott · New Orleans, 2026

The story before
the storefront

I've been a sailor, a fighter, and a founder, and none of them were the safe choice. What carried through all three was the same thing: you show up, you take the hit, and you keep moving forward. I learned it in the Navy, I proved it in the ring, and I've run a payments company on it. The discipline never changed — only the arena did.

People meet me now as the guy who runs Bonita Payments or wrote the books. But I got here the long way — bad days, a lot of them, and the refusal to quit on any of them. That's the whole story, and it's the reason any of the rest of it works. Everything on this site is a chapter of it. Read the full story →

Fintech · What he actually runs

He isn't commenting on business.
He's running one today.

Payments is the industry that moves money between a business and its customers — cards, terminals, invoices, payouts. Elliott is CEO of Bonita Payments, a payments company serving small and mid-sized businesses, and the operator behind QuarterSuite, the software platform Bonita built in-house instead of renting from someone else. Most processors resell another company's technology. His team owns the code.

The company

Bonita Payments

Card processing, terminals and merchant accounts for owner-operated businesses. He leads it as CEO — the P&L, the team, the customers who call when something breaks.

That's why the keynote isn't theory. Whatever he says on a stage on Thursday, he had to live it in his own company on Monday.
